- Health Certificate (should be issued within 48 hours before flight), from Agriculture Min. Earlier issued certificates are considered invalid.
- Rabies vaccination applied one year prior to the flight date at most and 30 days mandatory observation period after vaccination.
- Rabies Titration Blood Test applied one year prior to flight date and extra 90 days mandatory observation period after test (in US customs clearence this observation waiting time is not required).
- Microchip
- Power of Attorney if pet owner is not present during customs clearence.
- Passport and flight reservation of pet owner.
- Pet Passport.
- If travelling to UK, internal and external parasite tests required four days prior to clearing through UK customs soonest.
- The pet in question must depart within five days of his/her owners travel to UK.
- Pets can not travel in cabin to UK.
- Your pet should be able to sit straight, lay down in the natural position and steep through around.
- Your pet has to have at least 10 cm space between the ceiling when standing.
- If possible, lock mechanisms must be on the door and must contain the spring on the door lock system.
- There must be two containers in the kennel, one for food one for water.
- On the floor a material to absorb the wetness is needed.
- A) Length of animal from nose to root of tail.
- B) Height from ground to elbow joint.
- C) Width across shoulders.
- D) Height of animal in standing position (top of head for pets with non-erect ears – from tip of ears for pets with erect ears).
- The length of the kennel must be equal to A + 1/2 B (domestic flights), A + B (International flights).
- The width of the kennel must be equal to C x 2 (domestic flights), (C + 2.54 cm) x 2 (international flights).
- The height of the kennel (top flat or arched) must be equal to D (domestic flights), D + 7.62 cm (international flights).
